In Fluid Dynamics, Sloshing represents the movement of a liquid inside another object, which is typically also in motion. Due to the presence of free surface of the liquid, liquid and container interact and this is where appears the Slosh dynamics.
This kind of study is particularly important for ships or Trucks transporting liquid tanks.
This kind of Analysis is typically done using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software using Finite Element Method (FEM) to Solve the problem.
