Analysis details:
This Analysis was realized by importing a bridge project from midas CIVIL in midas NFX.



Train has been modeled using 3D solid mesh and concentrated Mass (21 tons) linked together using rigid links.
Rails are 3D solid Mesh welded on the 2D Mesh plate of the bridge which is linked with the 1D beam elements of the bridge structure.

The train model is linked to the rails by sliding contact.

Direct Transient Analysis (dynamic) has been performed.

Number of elements: 5120 elements
Calculation time: 15 sec (200 steps)
