Title=Bridge Department Manager;Company=Michael Baker International;Detail=He is a bridge department manager in Michael Baker's Minneapolis office, where he also serves as a project manager and senior bridge engineer. His work experience has focused on prestressed and post-tensioned concrete bridges, arch bridges, steel truss bridges, and three-dimensional finite element modeling. I am also an NHI instructor and teach the NHI superstructure, steel curved girder, substructure, and load rating courses. Several of the projects he has been involved with during his tenure at Michael Baker include the Winona Bridge through truss rehabilitation, the new E.28th St. Bridge over I-35W (Bridge 27W02) skewed steel plate girder bridge, for which he served as project manager, the Fulton Road Bridge (new precast and post-tensioned concrete arch), the Innerbelt Bridge rehabilitation (steel deck truss), the Milton Madison Bridge replacement, the I-225 light rail bridge, the Lafayette Bridge, and the Hastings Bridge. He graduated with a B.A. in Physics from Carleton College in 2001 and received a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in structural engineering in December 2003 from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a licensed professional engineer in Minnesota and a licensed structural engineer in the state of Illinois;Expert_Engineer=true.
