Midas FEA NX: Construction Stage Analysis of Prestressed Concrete Girder
A super quick read.
Author: JC Sun
Publish Date: 24 Jun, 2021
This webinar shows the modeling process for a prestressed concrete girder with rebars in place for detailed analysis. In this model, the rebars and tendons are modeled using curves and the girder is modeled using 3D solid. This webinar shows how to mesh reinforcement using 1D elements (embedded truss and tendon) and solid using 3D elements in Midas FEA NX. This webinar also shows how to define construction stage analysis for spliced girder by activating geometries, boundary conditions, and loads at different construction stages.
