Prestressed Concrete Bridges are one of the most important bridge types for Canada. Hence, this session is set to discuss the important aspects of a PSC bridge, like prestressing, live load analysis, and also rehabilitation. In the Canadian region, over one-tenth of bridges of every type were reported to be in poor or very poor physical condition. These structurally deficient bridges have led to many government projects on rehabilitation. Considering these requirements, the important topics of rehabilitation projects will also be discussed, for example, the simulation of temporary supports, removal of existing structure elements, adding stiffness modifiers for changed section properties, and manual modifications.
We’ll also talk about culvert modeling and design in brief since there are a lot of upcoming government projects on the same.
.
At the end of this session, engineers will also have the opportunity to ask questions, whether it be about the process or the software itself. We will offer PDH certification for engineers who attend the entire session. This is a perfect opportunity to level up your engineering skills!
In this session, you will learn about the following:
Graphic User Interface
Rehabilitation process and key points
