Regional Technical Manager/ CAE Consultant/ Civil Engineer II at MIDASoft, Inc. Angel Francisco Martinez is an engineering consultant with 7 years of experience in a range of fields including biomedical, renewable energy, and geo-technical design. He graduated with a Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin followed by a Masters in Civil Engineering from Cornell University. He received a design award for Sustainable Tech of 2011 by NASA Tech Brief's as well as a patent for his Ocean Wave Energy Converter invention. He co-founded and worked as CTO for Wavelectric, developing and testing prototypes of devices that convert wave energy into renewable electricity. Angel Francisco currently lives in New York City where he works as a CAE Engineer at MIDASoft, consulting clients from top global engineering firms on projects ranging from tunnels to high rise buildings designed on FEA software. He also organizes and speaks at international technical seminars that showcase some of the cutting edge projects from clients around the world designed with MIDAS.
