This Webinar will guide you toward basics of structural analysis using finite element analysis software. The webinar will focus on simple 2D structures, numerical modelling of the 2D structures and
correlating the software results with hand calculations. The webinar will benefit students and new users how a finite element analysis tool is used for analysing classical structural problems. The session will include statically determinate truss analysis, statically indeterminate frame analysis and column buckling analysis. midas Gen will be used as the finite element analysis tool.
